Sexual Violence Awareness

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.  The goal of Sexual Assault Awareness Month is to educate and raise public awareness about sexual assault and sexual violence.  Sexual violence can occur against anyone: it can happen to men, women, children and the elderly.  Moreover, sexual violence can happen between strangers, acquaintances, friends and intimate partners.  In a joint effort with DASH (Domestic Abuse Stops Here), the Rebecca Crown Library has created this list of resources regarding sexual violence.  Here you will find books, journals, databases and internet resources.  Also, there is a tab at the end that contains information on support services for victims of sexual violence, their family and friends.
