This is a guide to provide you links to reliable information including library services and hours.

Remote Learning & Services

This page contains information about Rebecca Crown Library's resources and services that are available during remote/online learning period.

The Library is open to Dominican students, faculty, and staff with a current DU ID. The Book Drop is open to return materials.

Though we will not be able to do in person research appointments, librarians are still available to assist you with research via chat or through email reference@dom.edu

Connect to the Library from Off Campus

There are many things to consider when you are using the library from home. Faculty and current students have access to many online resources from any internet computer. The majority of the Library's online resources are accessible from off-campus and available 24 hours a day.

Here are some tips that make it easier:

  • To ensure you're logged on and can receive access Databases, Articles and other Online Resources please the following instructions:
    • Off-campus access to the Library's online resources is provided through EZProxy software. If you are off campus, an EZProxy login screen will appear. Enter your Network ID and password to login.  (Your Network ID is your email address BEFORE the @ symbol. Example: If your email is username@dom.edu, enter username. The password is the same as your email/DU network password).
  • For a list of the databases available through the Library, please see the A-Z list of databases. You may search alphabetically, by subject or type. Check out our Database Tutorials for more assistance.
  • Explore Rebecca Crown Library's Tutorials Guide to find videos and handouts about using library resources
  • For research help chat with a librarian using the chat box or email: reference@dom.edu
  • Check out a loaner laptop to be able to do your work from home.
