The Anhelo Project is a Chicago based non-profit organization that works to support undocumented students pursuing a post-secondary education within the State of Illinois.

Our mission, through advocacy and research, is to inform policy makers, educational leaders, institutions and other interested entities about issues relating to the Chicano/Latino community across the Preschool – Graduate School (P-20) educational system. Ultimately, C.O.R.E. aims to ensure that all Chicano/Latino students are provided an education that allows them to choose career and life paths based on their interests and goals.

The mission of Illinois LAtino Council on Higher Education (ILACHE) is to work collaboratively with colleges, universities, and other stakeholders to increase the access, retention, and advancement of Latin@ students, faculty, and staff in Illinois higher education institutions.

Our vision is to bring hope to all those students who think there is no path for them after high school to continue their higher education. We are building bridges into college for undocumented young people.
