Learn how to navigate the Rebecca Crown Library with this handy guide.

The Rebecca Crown Library contains the "Learning Commons." This is a type of building with multiple places/offices/groups that benefit students, such as the library, the Writing Center, and the Academic Success Center. This passport will lead you in exploring the Learning Commons and grow your understanding of the wonderful resources it has to offer!

To begin this activity, please download and print the following pdf:

To turn it into a passport, follow these directions to fold your paper:

After your passport is printed and folded:

  1. Take it to the learning commons (Rebecca Crown Library and the Academic Success Center)
  2. Stop at each listed area. (If you're not sure where the area is, don't hesitate to ask someone working in the library!)
  3. Talk with the people working there about how that area can help you.
  4. Get answers to the questions on pages 6-7. You can ask one person all of the questions or ask one question at each area-that's up to you!
  5. Get your passport stamped in each area.
  6. Submit the post-passport quiz on Canvas (if your professor is requiring you to do so).
