DaVinci Resolve

DaVinci Resolve is a software suite used for the editing of video, audio, and general post production. DaVinci can be used for everything from simple projects, such as making cuts in video, to much more complicated editing like color correction, VFX (visual effects), and more.

While using DaVinci for the first time may seem intimidating, in reality its operation becomes quite intuitive with a little bit of practice. This makes it a good option for those who might be making their first foray into video editing.

DaVinci comes in two different packages: a paid and a free version. While the paid version does come with more options in terms of VFX tools, the free version is still a very powerful and versatile program that can handle your editing needs. This free version is what can be found on the Rebecca Crown Library Recording Studio's computers.
