Hotlines

If you are at risk of or experiencing homelessness, call 2-1-1 to be connected to health and human service assistance. You can also go online to 211.org.

Call the Illinois Department of Human Services Help Line 1-833-2-FIND-HELP (1-833-234-6343) and be connected to food, medical, shelter, recovery, and other resources.

Chicago 
If you are at risk of or experiencing homelessness and are in Chicagocall 3-1-1 and ask for 'short term assistance’ or contact/visit the City of Chicago Community Service Center nearest you to access a range of resources.

Suburban Cook County
If you are at risk of or experiencing homelessness and are in Suburban Cook County, call 1-877-426-6515 (8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday) or go online to http://myentrypoint.org/. There are warming centers for residents across Cook County, go online to https://cookcountyemergencymanagement.org/ for locations, hours, and more information.
