- Step 1Opening up Microsoft Windows page
- Step 2Click on "Insert or Edit Citation". A Mendeley Citation Editor will pop up. Click on "Go to Mendeley."
- Step 3Click on the reading that you would want to cite. After you do that, click on the "Cite" tab.
- Step 4The author and the year will pop up on your document.
- Step 5Press the return button underneath the author and year. After doing so, click on "insert bibliography".
- Step 6Here's an example for when you have multiple citations. Even when the author's last names aren't in order it will automatically do so when you click on "insert bibliography".
