Creating a Timeline
Now that you have your media files imported into DaVinci, you can begin building your timeline. The timeline is the area where you’ll interact with and make edits to your chosen media.
Begin by clicking on the [Edit] tab on the toolbar at the bottom of the screen:
Like the name implies, this will shift DaVinci over to the editing window where you can start making changes to your media. Once Edit is selected, click and drag files from your Media Pool to the timeline, arranging them in your preferred order. Now that you have your timeline set up, you’re ready to begin editing.
